Although elements of decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) have been available for several years – including telemedicine, home health providers, mobile devices and remote monitoring – these approaches are only recently being adopted on a significant scale. The DCT model requires new roles and partnerships, with changes for all stakeholders that will likely continue after the pandemic. This paper, authored by experts from Advanced Clinical, examines experience to date along with lessons learned.
